<description>There&#039;s a lot more to this story! Following the 2008 general election, over 54,000 postal verification cards of same-day registrants were returned as undeliverable. These new voters will have their records flagged for challenge at the NEXT election, but their votes have already been counted. The damage is done and can&#039;t be undone. Up to 2,800 convicted felons may have been allowed to cast fraudulent ballots. Ramsey and Hennepin Counties are now investigating. Mark Ritchie began dismantling Minnesota election safeguards from day one in office and now he&#039;s an advocate for other states to adopt Election Day registration and is pushing new Minnesota Legislation to loosen the process even more.
